**About the role :**
  
To drive strategic initiatives and commercial performance by providing financial leadership and insights that enable effective decision-making and business growth in the Premium Spirits segment.
Partner with the General manager, Finance and commercial teams to optimize revenue streams, market expansion, and strategic investments.
  
**Role Responsibilities:**
  
**Strategic Planning & Growth**
  
- Manage financial aspects of planning process and growth initiatives
  
- Develop financial models for market expansion and new business opportunities
  
- Evaluate potential strategic partnerships
  
- Support development of 3-5 year strategic roadmap with robust financial analysis
  
- Model scenarios for market and product portfolio expansion
  
**Commercial Performance**
  
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to optimize pricing strategies and promotional ROI
  
- Analyze channel profitability and customer portfolio performance
  
- Evaluate new revenue streams and business models
  
- Support trade spending efficiency and promotional planning
  
- Monitor competitor activity and market share performance
  
- Evaluate distribution models and market-entry strategies
  
**Business Development & Investment**
  
- Develop rationales for strategic investments and expansion efforts
  
- Evaluate ROI on brand investments and marketing campaigns
  
- Analyze new product development opportunities and launch costs
  
- Support commercial contract negotiations with financial insights
  
- Assess strategic CAPEX requirements for growth initiatives
  
**Performance Analysis & Insights**
  
- Develop commercial KPIs and performance dashboards
  
- Provide insight on market trends and their financial implications
  
- Analysis of brand performance and portfolio mix
  
- Track and analyze market share data and competitive intelligence
  
- Monitor and report on strategic project delivery and benefits realization
  
- Co-ordinate the Integrated Reporting Reconciliation (IRR) process within the IBP cycle.
  
**Experience / skills required**
  
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA(K) or equivalent)
  
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, or related field
  
- 7+ years of finance experience, with significant commercial finance exposure
  
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
  
- Experience with strategic planning and analysis

- Strong understanding of alcoholic beverage industry dynamics
  
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
  
- Knowledge of route-to-market strategies and trade channels
  
- Experience in strategic planning and execution

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
